Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground turkey
  • 3 small onions
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped onion, granulated garlic, smoked paprika, ground black pepper, one egg, and a good pinch of salt. Using hands, blend everything well until everything is combined. Shape meatballs.
  • Preheat a large saute pan over medium heat and add three tablespoons of olive oil. When the oil is hot, drop the meatballs gently. Fry meatballs on all sides until beautiful golden color, and then stir in 1 cup of tomato puree. Adjust the sauce for seasoning at your taste, cover the pan and bring it to a shimmer.
  • Once the sauce is bubbling, sprinkle over meatballs ½ cup of each shredded Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Send the pan to the preheated oven at 375°F and bake meatballs for about 15 minutes. Serve the meatballs hot topped with fresh parsley.
