“Cooking is not just a necessity; it is a sincere expression of care and affection. I learned to use the power of food as a vehicle for love, connection, and storytelling.”
My name is Tatiana, and I am a culinary enthusiast. I am responsible for the homemade food on Delice Recipes, including salads and appetizers. My inexhaustible curiosity has shaped my culinary journey, primarily through countless attempts, failures, and successes. After more than two decades of continuous culinary research, I gained the necessary expertise and decided to share it with the world through our beloved food blog.Â
Besides being a foodie, I am first a mother of a 9-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl. My children taught me the importance of instilling healthy eating habits from a young age. Having a picky son, I am forced to find ways to make some ingredients invisible to the eye yet present as nutritional value. On the contrary, my daughter will gladly taste everything I cook and keep me motivated. For me, cooking is not just about feeding loved ones – it’s about nourishing their bodies and nurturing their souls.
One of my life’s most transformative culinary chapters unfolded during my teenage years. During that period I had the opportunity to live in Italy for two immersive years. In the heart of this gastronomic paradise, I jumped headfirst into the Italian language, culture, and culinary heritage. I absorbed the essence of Italian cuisine through countless hours spent in crowded farmers markets, authentic Italian kitchens, and family gatherings. This way Italy became more than just a geographical location for me. It became my culinary muse, inspiring me to create delicious yet healthy recipes.Â
This all led to the creation of the Delice Recipes. In 2019, my friends Annie, Nata, and I decided to take our passion for cooking to the next level by starting a food blog. It is a perfect platform to showcase my kitchen creativity and connect with like-minded individuals. Delice Recipes is a place to share experience and enthusiasm for wholesome, home-cooked food. Whether it’s a comforting bowl of pasta or a vibrant salad bursting with flavors, my recipes reflect the commitment to using fresh ingredients and the dare always to test and improve.Â
The kitchen has always been a sacred space. In this sanctuary, I can unleash my creativity, experiment with new flavors, and find comfort in the rhythmic dance of chopping, stirring, and simmering. Cooking is not merely a task or a pastime. Cooking is a form of self-expression, and a means of connecting with others on a deeper, more intimate level.
I am sincerely grateful for the support and constructive feedback provided by our supporters and my esteemed colleagues, Annie and Nata. I invite you to explore some of my featured recipes, including this Salad with Burrata, Prosciutto, and Roasted Bell Peppers, Instant Pot Rabbit Stew with Vegetables, or Grilled Apricots with Brie, Prosciutto, and Honey.Â
