Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1/2 lemon

For the marinade:

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup coriander

Instructions

  • Combine the marinade ingredients in a small bowl and leave the shrimp to marinate for half an hour. Chop cubes bell peppers. Set aside.
  • Take a bamboo skewer and thread five shrimp with cubes of colourful peppers between them. Repeat this process for each skewer.
  • Cook on a preheated grill skillet about 5 minutes on each side or until shrimp look nicely grilled. Only then, squeeze some lemon juice over them.
  • Transfer the grilled kabobs on a platter and serve warm.
