Spiced Ground Beef Topped on Hummus
Hummus topped with Beef is a simple recipe with a nice-looking aspect. It is an authentic and famous Middle Easterns recipe to take your expectations to another level.
- 2 cups hummus
- 7 oz ground beef
- 1/2 cup pine nuts
- 1 tsp ground garlic
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 glass white wine
Start with roasting pine nuts. Pour some 3 tbsp olive oil into the skillet over medium heat and roast for 3 minutes or until golden brown and flavourful. Set aside.
In the remaining oil, add some more olive oil and ground beef. Mix and add the spices: ground garlic, cayenne pepper, pepper flakes, salt, pepper, and ground nutmeg for more aroma. Pour one glass of white and let it cook until all the water evaporates. Usually, it takes 15 to 20 minutes.
Hummus. I have made it ahead and just added it to the platter topped with beef and roasted pine nuts.
Serve immediately while the beef is still warm and super delicious. Bon appetit!
