Equipment

  • pot
  • baking tray

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh shrimp
  • 3 ears corn
  • 1 lb potato balls
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 4 shallots
  • 2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • So, grab 3 corn in the cob and cut them into 2-inch sized pieces. Then in a large pot with salted water boil corn for about 10 minutes.
  • Heat a big skillet on medium heat. Then add ⅓ cup of butter. When you see the butter melted add the crushed garlic. It is up to your taste how much to add. Let it sauté for about 2 minutes. Then pour the melted butter in a medium bowl. Mix in 1 tsp of smoked paprika, 2 tsp Old Bay seasoning, 1 tsp of salt, 1tbsp fresh lemon juice, and some chill flakes if desired.
  • Peel and devein the shrimp. Grab a baking tray and grease it with some olive oil. Transfer all ingredients to the tray: potatoes ball (there is no need to thaw them), precooked corn, shrimps, and some shallot wedges. Pour the butter mixture on the top and gently toss to combine.
  • Bake just for about 12-15 minutes, as shrimp cooks so quickly.
