Baked Cod with Creamy Sauce and Caviar

Baked Cod coated in a delicious creamy sauce and caviar is our favorite fish recipe on a party feast. Juicy and moist cod fillets drizzled with fresh lemon juice, herbs and a glass of white wine will be ready in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 3 fish fillets
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • zest lemon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • dill

For the sauce:

  • 3.5 oz butter
  • 7 oz sour cream
  • 1.7 oz blue cheese
  • 1 shot whiskey
  • 3.5 oz red caviar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Instructions

  • Marinate the fish with herbs and leave it for 20-30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven at 400°F or 200°C.
  • Bake the fish for about 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, the fish is baking, prepare the sauce.
  • Take a saucepan and melt 100 gr of butter.
  • Add 1 pack of sour cream ( 200gr) and stir about 5-7 minutes until it thickens.
  • Add 50 g of blue cheese for a thicker consistency, and for a more pronounced taste.
  • Pour a shot of whiskey for a better and the best aroma.
  • Add the caviar, season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour over the fish and serve immediately.
